Reasons to Get Involved in Stitching
There are numerous reasons to get involved in stitching if you’ve never done it before. The owner is a proud lifelong stitcher who has kept the business in the family for more than two decades.
Hand stitching was introduced to her at the young age of eight, and the passion has never died. Hand stitching projects can grow on people of all ages. These are some of the top reasons to get involved in needlepoint artwork:
Therapy
Nothing is quite as relaxing during stressful times as having an involved project to work on. Needlepoint art projects are great therapeutic activities. They can help you de-stress from life, work, and all of its problems while you focus on hand stitching something beautiful. You may fall in love with the activity after you see how soothing the art is for you.
Creative Growth
Enjoy the creation of each new project starting with the choice of canvas, be it your own design or a hand painted one that appeals to you. Then create that perfect project for yourself or for that special friend or family member. Let your imagination go with your choice of threads and stitches to create that special heirloom. Each project allows you to grow and learn new aspects of stitching.
